Library & Resource Centre

The Glen Eira College Library is a welcoming, vibrant and engaging place of learning and discovery. We provide quality resources, services and technologies to ensure successful and rewarding outcomes for all of our students. Our Library Monitors play an important role in day to day operations – particularly in the areas of resource selection, extra-curricula activities and helping with library duties. We have a thriving lunchtime Book Club, afterschool Homework Help sessions, and a number of other activities designed to appeal to all. In addition to fostering a love of books and reading, the library provides a caring and inclusive environment well utilised by all members of the Glen Eira College community.

Library Opening Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8.50am – 4.30pm
Friday 8.50am – 4pm
Year 12 Students: 8.30am – 4.30pm

Homework Help
Homework Help is held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3.15pm until 4.30pm. Volunteer tutors are available in most subject areas.

Suggestions Box
There is a ‘Suggestions Box’ on the front desk in the library.  Please let us know if you have any book recommendations for the library, or any other general feedback.
